Orlando Pirates should not have been awarded a penalty in their Betway Premiership win over Richards Bay, according to former PSL referee Victor Hlungwani.
This comes after Tshepang Moremi tumbled in the 18-yard area after what looked like a challenge from the back on the Pirates man.

Replay however shows that the Richards Bay player had gotten the ball instead and Hlungwani is of the ntion that referee Masixole Bambiso got his decision wrong.
The Buccaneers went on to claim a 2-0 win after Evidence Makgopa converted the spot kick.
“There’s Moremi there who claims to have been kicked and a penalty was given,” ‘The Principal’ said on Soccerzone.
“Here’s a penalty awarded by Masixole Bambiso. Did he kick an opponent, no. Did he trip an opponent, no. Did he kick the ball, yes!

“So, kicking a ball there’s no offence committed.
“Incorrect decision by the referee to award a penalty.
“This is not right!
