Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khulumani Ndamane has revealed one of the reasons he chose to join the club.
The left centre-back signed for the Brazilians at the start of the season but spent six months on loan at TS Galaxy before linking up with the Tshwane giants in January.

Since then, he has quickly cemented his place in the team, forming solid partnerships with the likes of Grant Kekana and Keanu Cupido.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League semifinal second leg against Esperance at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Ndamane said the opportunity to play in high-profile matches was a major factor in his decision to join Sundowns, as it would help him grow as a player.
“Yeah, obviously that’s the reason [playing high-profile matches] why I came to Sundowns,” said Ndamane.
“I want to grow, that’s why I came here.”
He admitted that the intensity and atmosphere of Champions League matches are still difficult to adjust to, especially as it is his first season competing at this level.
“It’s hard for me because it’s my first CAF Champions League experience,” he added.
“But as the time goes, I will learn cause we’re moving forward gradually, so I will get used to this.”
