Orlando Pirates defender Nkosinathi Sibisi has reflected on how the team responded to recent league setbacks, including draws against Siwelele and Richards Bay.
The Buccaneers remain firmly in the title race, going stride for stride with Mamelodi Sundowns, who are chasing a ninth straight championship.

Pirates were first held to a 1-1 draw at home by Siwelele, and after back-to-back wins, dropped points again in a 2-2 draw with Richards Bay.
Despite those results denting their momentum, Pirates still lead the standings with 58 points from 25 matches, one match ahead of second-placed Sundowns who are on 57 points.
Sibisi emphasised the team’s resilience, pointing to the strong character they showed by bouncing back with important victories after both draws.
“I think for us, just as in life, we suffer setbacks,” said Sibisi.
“I think you mentioned the draw we played against Siwelele and Richards Bay. But it’s how you move forward, how you pick yourselves up that’s important.
“And I think the boys showed the character to say after the game against Siwelele, we went against TS Galaxy, we were able to win that game, keep a clean sheet.
“We also suffered a setback against Richards Bay recently, but we also picked ourselves up again.
“So, that’s the kind of mentality and the attitude that the boys are showing, throughout the season. And I think with this kind of mentality, surely something has to gain.”
