Mamelodi Sundowns and Stellenbosch FC have announced their starting XI to face each other in the Betway Premiership at Loftus Versfeld this evening.
Masandawana have a chance to return to the top of the log, as they would go one point clear off Orlando Pirates with a game in hand should they beat Stellies tonight.
Sundowns have won their last 10 games in the league, and are unbeaten in 14. They have also won 24 home games in a row in the Betway Premiership, with their last defeat coming to Cape Town City in May 2025.
The Brazilians have also won the last five league games against tonight’s opponents, while Stellies are not on a bad run themselves.
They have only lost one game in the league since Gavin Hunt took over, winning five and drawing four to climb into ninth place on the log with 31 points.
A win tonight would put them level on points with Polokwane City and Golden Arrows in the race for the last two Top 8 spots.
