Orlando Pirates and Durban City have announced their starting line-ups for this afternoon’s Betway Premiership clash at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
Pirates play at the Orlando Amstel Arena for the last time this season, and the supporters didn’t disappoint, as this is a sold-out game. The Buccaneers have their fate in their hands when it comes to winning their first league title in 14 years – only needing a win to go ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns.
A win for the Buccaneers would mean they have one hand on the trophy and will see them overtake Sundowns based on the superior goal difference.
Bucs find themselves in second place with 65 points after 28 games, three points behind league leaders Sundowns, who have played all their league matches.
Meanwhile, Durban City are playing to secure their top-eight finish. They are currently in seventh place with 38 points, just five points above Siwelele FC, Stellenbosch FC, and Richards Bay FC.
The KwaZulu-Natal-based side have had a good season after winning the Nedbank Cup, and they would like to continue doing so.
In the first round, Pirates won 2-0, with Patrick Maswanganyi and Evidence Makgopa scoring the two goals, while City’s Siphamandla Ncanana received a red card.
Here is how they line up:
