Meanwhile, Sithole was an unused substitute for Portuguese outfit Tondela, who were relegated to the second tier after finishing 17th with 28 points from 34 matches.
Their fate was sealed following a 3-1 defeat to Arouca on the final day of the league season.
Over in Austria, Antonio van Wyk featured for 45 minutes as Ried fell 2-0 to Altach, while his compatriot Yusuf Maart played 57 minutes in the same encounter.

Across the Atlantic in Major League Soccer (MLS), Mbekezeli Mbokazi put in a standout performance, playing the full 90 minutes in Chicago Fire’s 2-0 triumph over CF Montréal.
His countryman, Puso Dithejane, featured for 23 minutes after coming off the bench in the second half of the same match.
Elsewhere in the MLS, Olwethu Makhanya played the full 90 minutes as Philadelphia Union played out to a 1-1 draw with Columbus Crew, while Bongokuhle Hlongwane remained an unused substitute in Minnesota United’s 2-1 defeat to New England Revolution.
