England manager Thomas Tuchel has sprung major surprises after announcing his 26-man 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
Tuchel named his squad on Friday morning that will be at the FIFA World Cup in the Americas as The Three Lions last lifted this trophy in 1966 and have been struggling to lift any major trophy since.

Tuchel surprised many English football followers are omissions of players who have been part of the set up as far back as the Euros with the German mentor admitting that there were difficult telephonic conversations with the players left out but that it was the right selections he had made for England.
The current crop of players are expected to give something as they are seen one of the best generations in England’s history.
The World Cup journey for Tuchel’s side began with a clash against Croatia on 17th May, six days later they face African big house Ghana and close the group stages against Panama.
