Golden Arrows striker Sede Junior Dion looks poised for a lucrative transfer in the off-season as he closes in on the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award.

Dion, 27, looks poised to win the 2025/26 top scorer honour in the South African top-flight, with the player currently on 14 goals – two ahead of Iqraam Rayners and four ahead of Relebohile Mofokeng.

With Sundowns league campaign already concluded, it will take something monumental in the final day of the season for the robust forward to be ousted the accolade.

And it’s not been a once-off, with Dion among the most prolific attackers in South African football, since first arriving with Marumo Gallants five years ago – when they lured him from Jwaneng Galaxy.

Dion has netted 40 goals, with five assists in 126 games across all competitions, for Gallants, AmaZulu and now Arrows – and his consistency has seen several clubs take an interest in his services, locally and abroad.

However, iDiski Times has been informed there has been early contact from Simba SC, Pyramids, Damac in Saudi Arabia and Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates.

While talks remain in the early stages, Dion will undoubtedly be one of the most in-demand players in the South African Premiership over the coming weeks, going into the upcoming transfer window.
