Cape Town City blew the Premier Soccer League promotion play-off wide open after a hard-fought 1-0 away win over Milford at the uMmhlathuze Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.
After winning back to back games over City away, and a last minute win over Magesi, the KZN outfit looked favourites win promotion to the top-flight.
And all seemed in order at the break, when they reduced City to not having a single shot on target going into the dressing room.
However, Therlo Moosa netted a late goal for the visitors which now blows the competition wide open with a game to go – as they moved to three points, level with Magesi.
The Citizens could move top with a win over Magesi on Wednesday, and will need the Limpopo-based outfit to earn a win over Milford in the final game, where then goal difference could decide who’s in the top-flight next season.
