Milford FC have reached the Betway Premiership promise land after holding Magesi FC to a nailbiting 1-1 draw in their do-or-die PSL/Promotion playoff tie at Seshego Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Stallions topped the mini playoff table with seven points and needed to avoid a defeat in order to secure passage to top-flight football.

Mncedi Vandala could’ve given the home side an early lead but saw his effort come off his knee and over the croosbar.
Dikwena tša Meetse then broke the deadlock in the 14th minute through Edmore Chirambadare with a well taken header at the back post from Reagan Van Der Ross’ cross to make it 1-0.
The Zimbabwean should have completed his brace in the 26th minute but saw his well struck effort come off the crossbar.
Milford were then given a lifeline after referee Akhona Makalima pointed to the spot for a penalty in the 37th minute. Cheswyn Philander stepped up but smashes it off the crossbar.
Matters were levelled in the 50th minute as Menzi Chili struck a low shot from outside the box to make it 1-1.
The hosts threw everything up front in the Milford box but the visitors were equally up to the task defending tooth and nail.
At the sound of the final whistle from Makalima, Milford fans in the stands erupted into cheers with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit gaining promotion to the Betway Premiership for the 2026/27 campaign while Magesi head to the Motsepe Foundation Championship for the upcoming campaign.
Dr Xanti Phuphuma’s charges also completed the double over Magesi after beating them 1-0 at home last week.
