The Cameroonian forward Bienvenu Eva Nga has secured a move to a new club following his departure from Chippa United at the conclusion of the season.
As previously reported by this publication, the veteran striker headlined a lengthy list of player departures as the Chilli Boys look to radically overhaul their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Among the other exits alongside Eva Nga are Lukhanyo July, Xolani Sithole, Ayabulela Konqobe, Somila Ntsundwana, and Bongani Sam, who have all parted ways with the Gqeberha-based side.
Meanwhile, Malebogo Modise has returned to his parent club, Mamelodi Sundowns, following the expiration of his long loan spell.
This website has been reliably informed that Eva Nga has put pen to paper with Mozambican giants Costa do Sol, marking his second stint with the Maputo-based club.
The centre-forward previously spent one campaign with them during the 2019/20 season before moving to South Africa for greener pastures, where he initially signed for the now-defunct Bidvest Wits under the stewardship of Gavin Hunt.
His move to Costa do Sol brings an end to what has been somewhat a nomadic career in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for Nga, who had three stints with Chippa United.
He first joined the Eastern Cape outfit from Wits in 2020, a move that eventually earned him a high-profile transfer to Orlando Pirates in 2022.
After struggling to find his feet at Mayfair, he retraced his steps back to the Chilli Boys for another spell before trying his luck in Europe with Italian lower-league side Portogruaro Calcio.
Following a short stay in Italy, he returned to Chippa ahead of the just-ended season, signing a one-year contract, which has now officially expired.
