Chippa United have secured the services of highly-rated left back Imraan Jones ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Jones, 23, enjoyed an outstanding season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with Highbury and attracted several suitors, and current Chippa head coach Brandon Truter would have seen him at close quarters.

Having been developed at Stellenbosch, with a couple of seasons in the DStv Diski Challenge squad, Jones moved on and cut his teeth in the ABC Motepe League with Hout Bay FC and Mkhambathi FC before a breakthrough in the second tier with Highbury.
He now climbs the top-flight in the space of four years and will undoubtedly be aiming to continue his impressive career trajectory with the Chilli Boys who are on a squad rebuild mission after narrowly avoiding relegation on the final day of the season with new head coach Truter.
