Young Africans who recently appointed Manqoba Mngqithi as their new head coach could snap up two talents from the Premier Soccer League ahead of the new season.
It’s a season of new beginnings for the club as Mngqithi becomes the official successor of Pedro Goncalves – and despite a period of instability – they still finished the campaign as league champions ahead of firece rivals Simba SC by the one point.
Mngqithi, who left his role at Golden Arrows, will now be tasked to usher them into a new era and look to make genuine progress and inroads domestically and in the CAF Champions League.
And to bolster their squad, iDiski Times sources have confirmed Thulani Gumede from Richards Bay, one of their influential talents is high on the agenda to secure.
Justice Figuareido, currently on the books of Chippa United, is the other said to be on their way to Tanzania, an exciting winger on his day with a wealth of international experience with eSwatini, capped over 20 times.
He’s netted 11 goals with eight assists in 111 appearances in the top-flight but there’s often been the notion there’s another great to find for the mercurial talent.
Both are believed to be keen on the move but it remains to be seen whether the deals can be finalised as pre-season begins in the coming days.
