Kaizer Chiefs are exploring options for midfielder Samkelo Zwane ahead of the new season, with another loan move on the cards.
Zwane comes from the Chiefs reserve side, having played in the DStv Diski Challenge alongside the likes of Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala.

The 24-year-old made 36 appearances for Amakhosi since making his senior debut in October 2022 against Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town.
The struggle to settle in the first team led to Zwane being loaned out to Siwelele FC in the 2025/26 season, in hopes of gaining more game time and experience. Even in the Green and White colours, he could however only make seven appearances in all competitions, something Chiefs didn’t want as they still hold him in high regard.
The midfielder didn’t travel with the club to Spain for pre-season, and Amakhosi are exploring options for the future for the midfielder; at this stage, a loan is what is on the cards.
Looking at the Chiefs midfield, which has the likes of Ethan Chislett, Lebohang Maboe, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Sibongiseni Mthethwa and the new signing Adolf Bitegeko Mtasingwa, it won’t be easy for Zwane to make the breakthrough in the midfield.
