The winners of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League awards were announced on Monday evening.
Last year, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro Costa was the big winner of the awards after being named PSL Footballer of the Season, Betway Premiership Player’s Player of the Season, while also winning the Goal of the Season and the Golden Boot.
This year, both Relebohile Mofokeng and his former Orlando Pirates teammate Oswin Appollis were nominated for four awards after helping the Buccaneers to a domestic treble of Betway Premiership, MTN8 and Carling Knockout trophy.
Meanwhile, Durban City won the Nedbank Cup for the very first time.
The firs award of the evening went to Pirates’ winger Tshepang Moremi, who was named MTN8 Last Man Standing, while his former teammate Mbekezeli Mbokazi was named Carling Knockout Player of the Tournament.
In the positional awards, Pirates completed a clean sweep, with Sipho Chaine, Lebone Seema, and Oswin Appollis winning the Goalkeeper, Defender and Midfielder of the Season, while Relebohile Mofokeng was named Young Player of the Season and Camren Dansin won the Goal of the Season.
Pirates also bagged the Coach of the Season award for Abdeslam Ouaddou and the Players’ Player of the Season accolade for President Yama2k.
The latter completed his awards hat-trick after also being named the PSL Footballer of the Season 2025/26.
