Sekhukhune United coach Cedric Kaze has shared his feelings on facing his former club Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.
Kaze left Amakhosi at the end of last season after working as co-coach alongside Khalil Ben Youssef, who has since taken charge of Durban City.

The Burundian coach had joined Amakhosi in 2024 as part of coaching staff of Nasreddine Nabi, who was appointed head coach at the time.
Now in charge of Sekhukhune, Kaze has made an impressive start, winning his first two matches — the Betway Premiership opener and MTN8 quarterfinal.
He admitted that returning to face Chiefs will be an emotional occasion after spending two years at the Soweto giants.
However, the Sekhukhune coach insists his focus is firmly on preparing his team for the challenge, particularly after a demanding MTN8 quarterfinal clash against AmaZulu that left several players needing recovery time.
“It’s an emotional one coming on Wednesday and we have to first recover well because I feel like this game took a lot of, took a toll on the physicality of the players,” said Kaze.
“But I’m pretty sure that on Wednesday we will be ready for the challenge.”
The match will take place at the FNB Stadium with kick-off time scheduled for 19:30.
