Following Sekhukhune United’s 2-0 victory over Polokwane City in the league, Cedric Kaze says he now has an idea of how to play his goalkeepers.

New signing Melusi Buthelezi was in goals in the victorious Limpopo Derby at Seshego Stadium on Saturday. It was his third appearance overall in all competitions for Babina Noko having produced a clean sheet in the 1-0 season opener against Durban City and his participation in the seven-goal thriller against AmaZulu in the quarter-finals of the MTN8.

However, the former Orlando Pirates keeper was on the bench when the side lost 2-0 to Kaizer Chiefs last week with Toaster Nsabata the preferred goalie in that encounter.

Kaze said the changes in goals were a reflection and has given him a clue on how to proceed in the season in the department.

“You know, it’s a reflection as well,” said Kaze.

“But I’m pretty sure that now I have got the idea of what I want to do in that regard, and we will see in the next games.

Meanwhile, the win over Rise and Shine sees Sekhukhune in fourth position on the log with six points in three matches and Kaze admitted that it was the reaction he was looking for after the loss to his former side.

“Yeah, it’s the kind of reaction that we were waiting for as well,” added the coach.

“You know, it’s a derby and it’s a good way to react and to get back to the winning side of the league.”
