The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the details for the upcoming MTN8 semi-finals, with two spots in this year’s final one the line.
Eight teams started, but only four remain after record champions Kaizer Chiefs, AmaZulu, Durban City and Richards Bay were all eliminated in the quarter-finals.
The semi-final draw has seen defending champions Orlando Pirates paired with Sekhukhune United, while Mamelodi Sundowns will meet Golden Arrows over two legs.
The Buccaneers needed extra-time to beat Durban City 2-1, while Babina Noko came out tops in a seven-goal thriller with Usuthu, beating Arthur Zwane’s men 4-3.
Sundowns beat Polokwane City 3-2 in extra-time and Arrows stole a 1-0 away win from FNB Stadium against Chiefs.
The semi-finals kick off on Saturday, when Sekhukhune host Pirates at Old Peter Mokoba Stadium at 15:00, while Sundowns host Arrows at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 15:00 on Sunday.
The return legs take place a week later at Orlando Amstel Arena and King Zwelithini Stadium, respectively.
