Golden Arrows coach Pitso Dladla has addressed the recurring problem that has affected the team since the start of the season.

Abafana Bes’thende have made a steady start to the campaign, reaching the MTN8 semi-finals before being knocked out by Mamelodi Sundowns over two legs.

They currently sit 10th in the Betway Premiership with six points from five matches, having recorded one win, three draws and one defeat.

According to Dladla, their biggest concern has been converting chances into goals. While he believes Arrows have improved in creating opportunities, their finishing in front of goal remains an issue.

“It’s one of the things we’re working on in training, because it’s one our problems,” said Dladla.

“But we’re starting to create the opportunities but then it’s not enough to create and not score.

“We’re working on that every day, like I’ve said that we need to be ruthless, we need to be clinical. At the end of the day, us as coaches, we need to assist the players.

“We can’t just leave that problem on them; it’s a collective responsibility from the coaches to the players.”
