Kaizer Chiefs will face Zambian outfit Red Arrows in the Second Preliminary Round fixtures of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Amakhosi were exempted from the first preliminary round matches alongside Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Raja Casablanca of Morocco.
On Sunday, Arrows travelled to Madagascar with a 2-0 advantage over FC Rouge from the first leg tie. Eliya Mundanji and Alassane Diarra netted for Arrows in their home leg.
They then completed the job in the islandic country when Ackim Mumba netted a brace for a 4-0 aggregate win for next round progression.
Arrows will now face Chiefs in the second preliminary round who failed to make it past the group stages last season.
The first leg ties will get underway on 16-18 October with the return fixtures set for 23-25 October.
