Amajita coach Raymond Mdaka has named his final 23-man squad for the 2026 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations COSAFA qualifiers.
The regional tournament starts on Friday and ends on 27 September in Mozambique.
The defending champions are in Group B with Lesotho, who they open their account against on Saturday, Angola, who they meet three days later, and Eswatini, who they close the group stage against on 23 September. The finalists from this tournament will qualify for the U20 AFCON.
Fletcher Smythe-Lowe didn’t make the final cut, while Kaizer Chiefs duo of Takalani Mazhamba and Keabetswe Morake are among the goalkeepers going top Maputo.
Lazola Maku, who is currently unattached, also made the squad along with Cape Town City winger Emile Witbooi. However, Sundowns youngster Bennet Mokoena was also dropped from the preliminary list.
