The South African Football Association have confirmed Pitso Mosimane will announce his first final Bafana Bafana squad on Thursday.
Mosimane was unveiled as new Bafana head coach during a press briefing at SAFA House earlier in September, replacing Belgian tactician Hugo Broos.
The former Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns coach will start his second reign as Bafana coach with a clash against Guinea on 23 September.
Four days later, Bafana will face Eritrea away from home, with co-hosts Kenya the other team in Bafana’s qualification group.
Mosimane announced an initial 35-man squad, with several new faces and will cut down his selection on Thursday.
Yanela Mbuthuma, Cemran Dansin, Tshepo Mashiloane, Puso Dithejane, Shandre Campbell, Lebone Seema, Tashreeq Matthews, Ronaldo Van Neel and Lebohang Maboe were the new names on Mosimane’s list and it remains to be seen who will be cut.
