BREAKING: Mosimane Joins Ali Ahli In Saudi Arabia

It has been confirmed that Pitso Mosimane has joined Ali Ahli in Saudi Arabia.

The club confirmed the news this morning on their Twitter page, a move that no one saw it coming.

Mosimane’s wife Moira Tlhagale on Twitter has also confirmed the news, who also in his agent, replying on Ahli’s Twitter by saying “done and dusted” after the club confirmed his appointment.

But it come as no surprise as Mosimane was just waiting for the right move, he insisted, after he left Al Ahly of Egypt in July.

There in Egypt Mosimane’s stock rose high, winning the Caf Champions League twice, leading the club to FIFA Club World Cup to two bronze medals.

In last year’s edition, Mosimane, who was in charge of 97 matches at Ahly, beat another Saudi Arabia club Ali Ahli in the third and fourth playoff, thrashing them by 4-0 with Egyptian giants. There he was without his best players as they were part of Egypt squad that lost the AFCON final to Senegal in Cameroon.

That ruthless display impressed Ali Ahli management who have now come calling for his signature.

Mosimane replaces Youseb Anbar was recently sacked.
