The 2024 COSAFA Cup will be staged at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha from June 26-July 7, the seventh straight year it will be held in South Africa.
The hosts will be looking to break their three-year drought and close the gap on the competition’s most successful sides, Zambia and Zimbabwe, having last won it in 2021 under the tutelage of Botswana cup-double-winning coach Morena Ramoreboli in the absence of Bafana Bafana assistant coach Helman Mkhalele due to Covid-19.
Bafana are in Group A, and will vie it out against Mozambique, eSwatini and the Zebras of Botswana.
Defending champions Zambia, who have won the trophy a record seven times, have been pitted in Group B alongside Kenya (initially place-holders), Comoros, and six-time winners Zimbabwe.
Group C sees three-time champions Angola go up against the Brave Warriors of Namibia, who won it 2015, Lesotho and Seychelles.
Full group stage:

Botswana and the Kingdom of eSwatini will open this year’s edition.
