Fadlu Davids led Simba SC to an emphatic 4-0 win over Fountain Gate to make it two wins from two in the 2024/25 NBC Premier League campaign.
After the 3-0 win over Tabora United, Davids’ side hosted a more formidable foe in the form of Fountain Gate at the KMC Stadium.
But they eased past their opponents with a convincing victory in which Valentino Mashaka, Jean Ahoua, Steven Mukwala and Edwin Balua found the net.
It proves to be an encouraging start to the league season after losing out to Young Africans in the FA Community Shield earlier this month.
Davids has been tasked to end the dominance of Yanga after being part of the historic invincible domestic double alongside Josef Zinnbauer at Raja Athletic Club last season.
