Final Nominees For CAF Awards Announced

Mamelodi Sundowns, Bafana Bafana, Ronwen Williams and Hugo Broos made the shortlists for the various CAF awards, with Williams bagging three nominations.

The Confederation of African Football have released the shortlists for their men’s awards, with Williams continuing to dominate.

The Sundowns keeper and Bafana captain remained among the final nominees for the CAF Interclub Men’s Player of the Year, the CAF Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year and the CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

He is the only goalkeeper among the nominees for CAF’s main award, and also the only player based in Africa.

Meanwhile, Sundowns made the five-team shortlist for the Men’s Club of the Year, while Bafana are among the National Team’s of the Year.

Finally, Broos stayed on the shortlist for the CAF Men’s Coach of the Year after his impressive campaign with SA’s men’s football team.
