Pitso Mosimane has received another special honour to cap off an impressive 2021.
The Al Ahly coach was named as coach for the CAF Men’s Team of the Year by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
The IFFHS announced Africa’s finest XI, including just one player plying his trade on the continent, namely Ali Maaloul.
The Al Ahly left-back and his coach are the only two from the continent in the selection and it’s the second time Mosimane has received special recognition from IFFHS in 2021 after already being named Best Club Coach on the continent.
