Wydad Athletic Club have secured the signing of highly-rated Morocco midfielder Mehdi Moubarik on loan for the season from Al Ain.
The 23-year-old Morocco youth international who was part of their recent Olympic squad that secured bronze in Paris was on loan last season at Raja Athletic Club.
He’s now returned to the Botola Pro from the Emirati Club, where he first made his name with FUS Rabat as a technically gifted number six.
Wydad confirmed the season-loan loan via their official social media channels as he becomes Rulani Mokwena’s 19th signing of the current transfer window, after 22 off-season departures from the first team.
It’s been a complete overhaul of the squad since his arrival as their new head coach with Moubarik joining after the marquee signing of Senegal forward Mbaye Niang last week.
