Polokwane City coach Phuti Mohafe has explaiend the absence of Bafana Bafana winger Oswin Appollis after his brace for the national team.
Appollis, 23, scored his first two goals for the national team in the 3-2 win over South Sudan during midweek but was a notable absentee from Rise & Shine on Saturday.

The decision not to include him in the squad in their 2-1 win over AmaZulu comes amid major transfer speculation, with Kaizer Chiefs said to be chasing his signature.
Mohafe, though, explained that his absence was to give the winger rest.
“Oswin is alive, Oswin is here,” Mohafe replied to iDiski Times when asked about Appollis’ absence.
“He didn’t play, he was in the national team. So we have to rest him, we need him more going forward.”
The transfer window closes on 20 September, a day before Polokwane face Magesi in an Limpopo derby.
