Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has cast doubt over wholesale changes for their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Sudan.
With their ticket for Morocco 2025 already sealed as they top Group K going into the final fixture in Cape Town, there have been suggestions of potential rotation.
With Mamelodi Sundowns playing the Carling Knockout final this weekend, there’s also been assumptions that players could be released earlier, which Broos also denied.
“You know that this is a question I can’t answer, I want to keep all my players motivated for tomorrow, and secondly, I will not give information to my opponent,” Broos said when asked if the likes of Relebohile Mofokeng will get opportunities to start.
“You will have to wait until tomorrow at 6pm. You know I don’t like taking this game as a friendly game and when you start changing everything.

“It means maybe players will also feel ‘Oh look, he’s changing, six, seven players’. I don’t want this. What I said in the beginning? I mean it, we want to finish first and we will try to put our best team tomorrow on the pitch.”
The two sides face off at the DHL Stadium at 18h00 on Tuesday afternoon.
