The latest FIFA ranking has been revealed with Bafana Bafana climbing back into the top 10 in Africa.
Hugo Broos’ men picked up two crucial wins during the recent international break, beating Uganda 2-0 away from home before defeating South Sudan 3-0 at Cape Town Stadium.

The latest wins saw Bafana climb three spots into 57th worldwide and back into the top in Africa.
Morocco have remained the highest-ranked African nation and sit in 14th overall, while Senegal follow in second among the CAF teams and 17th overall.
Egypt (33), Algeria (37) and Nigeria (44) round out Africa’s top five, followed by Ivory Coast (46) and Cameroon (49).
Mali (51) and Tunisia (52) are still slightly ahead of South Africa, while Argentina remained the world’s highest-ranked nation ahead of France and Spain.
