Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau is available as a free agent after parting ways with Qatar SC.
Tau, 31, has parted ways with the Qatari Stars League club after the expiry of his short-term contract, having joined them in January after leaving Al Ahly.
He featured in 10 games, registering four assists for the club, in a season to forget for the eight-time league champions as they finished 10th in the league, one spot off the relegation zone.
The club confirmed Tau’s exit on Thursday afternoon along with the head coach Mehdi Natfi and several other players; Ben Malango, Javi Martinez, Badr Benoun, Carlinhos Vinicius and Ahmed Abdelkader, who’s loan ends and returns to Al Ahly.
Tau is now a free agent and will be looking to get back into action ahead of the 2025/26 season.
