Singh Regaining Form Under Ex-EPL Coach

South Africa international winger Luther Singh is steadily regaining his form at AEL Limassol under former Fulham and Wales head coach Chris Coleman.

Singh, 27, joined the six-time Cypriot champions in the off-season after indifferent spells with FC Copenhagen and FK Cukaricki in Denmark and Serbia respectively.

While he was eased into his new surroundings with two substitute appearances in the opening three rounds of fixtures, Singh is steadily finding his feet under Coleman.

He’s now started five consecutive games, the last three being 90 minutes each, with one goal and three assists to his name.

After eight games played overall, they are in sixth place, seven points behind league leaders Aris Limassol.

Singh will be aiming to continue his recent progression with the aim of attracting attention from Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos.

The former Braga winger won the last of his 13 senior international caps in September 2021 in the 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
