Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jaydan Adams has compared in-form striker Brayan Leon with the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Leon joined Sundowns only in January and the Colombian forward has already made a huge impact in his first five months, reaching 18 goal contributions in all competitions – five goals in the CAF Champions League as well as 11 goals and two assists in the Betway Premiership.

The Colombian is expected to play a huge role in this season’s CAF Champions League final when Sundowns face Moroccan side ASFAR, with first leg set to take place this coming Sunday.

Adams who has also been instrumental at Sundowns praised Leon stating compared him with Ibrahimovic, and highly praised his work rate on and off the ball.

“He is like Ibrahimovic,” Adams told the media.

“It’s like a fight for every ball, pressing for everything. He will make a bad pass, a good one.”

“And you know, the qualities they have inside the box, it’s just incredible to add to our team.”

Sundowns will host ASFAR at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, largely thanks to Leon, who scored both 1-0 winners in the semi-final ties with Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
