AmaZulu are set to sign Zimbabwe international striker Takunda Benhura from Ngezi Platinum.
The two clubs have reached an agreement, with Benhura signing a two-year deal with an option to extend, which will begin on 1 January when the transfer window opens.
Benhura, 24, has been linked with a move away from Ngezi for several months now, after featuring for the club in winning the league’s Golden Boot in 2023 with 13 league goals, as they won the league and qualified for the CAF Champions League.
He also went on to represent the Warriors at the 2023 Cosafa Cup, but Ngezi managed to keep hold of the talented forward for another campaign.
He’s now set to join compatriot Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya at the club who joined in the off-season from FC Platinum and has scored four goals in his first eight league games.
