Durban City FC head coach Khalil Ben Youssef has identified both a positive and a concern following his side’s midweek draw against Stellenbosch.
The Citizens have made a mixed start to their Betway Premiership campaign, recording one win, three draws and one defeat from their opening five matches.

Ben Youssef was pleased with his team’s defensive efforts after they kept their third clean sheet of the league season, highlighting the solidity they have shown at the back.
However, the coach remains concerned about his side’s struggles in front of goal. Durban City have scored just three goals in their five league matches so far, an area Ben Youssef believes needs to improve.
“I think it’s very important that the team hasn’t conceded goals,” said Ben Youssef.
“Like I said when the game starts, you have always have one point in the pocket. If you fight and not concede, you come back with that point.
“And it’s a problem for us that we’re missing a lot of chances and the thing is we’re repeating the same.
“It’s our job to find solutions, it’s our work, we need to analyse and find solutions.”
