Chiefs’ First 10 Betway Prem Fixtures

Kaizer Chiefs open their 2024/25 Betway Premiership campaign with an away tie against Marumo Gallants on Saturday, September 14, at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.

On Thursday afternoon, the Premier Soccer League sent a communique with the drafted fixtures list to the clubs, which iDiski Times had access to.

As momentum builds up for the highly anticipated season, and ironically, Chiefs will head back to Free State after this weekend’s Toyota Cup clash against Yanga SC of Tanzania.

The Glamour Boys touched down in Mzansi on Wednesday afternoon after a three-week training camp in Turkey, and will look to get coach Nasreddine Nabi’s regime off to a great start against Bahlabane Ba Ntwa who are back in elite football after purchasing Moroka Swallows’ status.

Despite the MTN8 competition already commencing in August, Amakhosi fans will have to wait until September 14 to see their team in competitive action after enduring their worst-ever finish last season, coming in 10th place.

The last time Chiefs and Gallants locked horns was in 2023. Ashley Du Preez opened the scoring six minutes in before Ranga Chivaviro, who now plays for Chiefs, equalized for the away side in a 1-1 draw at FNB Stadium.
