Kaizer Chiefs winger Wandile Duba reveals that coach Nasreddine Nabi encouraged him to capitalise on Stellenbosch FC’s slow defensive backline ahead of their 2-1 victory at FNB Stadium.
Duba put in a Man of the Match performance where his side came from a goal down with him netting a brace to help them move to fifth position with 18 points.
The player now has four goals in the league, joint-third on the top goal scorer charts with five other players and two goals behind leader Iqraam Rayners of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Duba said Nabi told him to check the speed of the Stellies defenders and capitalise on it.
“The coach told me that their centre-backs are slow so I should make runs, behind their shoulders and I will score goals,” Duba said on SuperSport TV.

“I did that, and I scored. We are getting used to how the coach wants us to work it’s just that we have to adjust to every game. So, we have to change in every game and adjust to the team we are playing on the day, but we are getting used to the he wants us to play.
“We wanted to win today’s game it was our birthday yesterday so we are here to celebrate in style. We had to bring three points back to the village today.”
