Marumo Gallants have confirmed the exit of head coach Dan Malesela and Technical Director Molefi Ntseki with immediate effect.
Malesela has been on shaky ground this season having initially replaced Dylan Kerr in the hot seat who resigned for overseeing an official game.
He was placed on special leave back in December and returned to the dugout as results didn’t improve under the caretaker coaches.
However, the club has now pulled the plug completely with former AS Vita head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou poised to be Malesela’s successor.
“Marumo Gallants FC has released Head Coach Dan Malesela and Technical Director Molefi Ntseki following the club’s struggle to improve its league standing,” the club statement read on Friday morning.
“Currently 14th on the log with just four wins from 17 matches, Gallants is looking for a fresh approach. The club appreciates their contributions and wishes them well in their future endeavours.
“In the interim, Assistant Coaches Sundra Govender and Duncan Lechesa will oversee the team while the process of appointing a permanent head coach is finalised.”
