Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siboniso Gaxa believes Bobby and Jessica Motaung should be given full responsibility to run the Soweto giants, and success would come.
Gaxa played for Chiefs between 2012 and 2016, and was part of the last generation to win silverware at the club.
With the current team going on 10 years without a trophy and this season again turning out difficult under new coach Nasreddine Nabi, Gaxa believes the club should make some changes in the management structure.
“I always think that Bobby should be given the full responsibility – not half, the full responsibility to run the club,” he told Robert Marawa on Radio 947.
“Bobby is an exceptionally incredible man, it’s unfortunate that people don’t understand and don’t know him.
“If Jessica Motaung and Bobby can be, both of them, given the full responsibility for that club, I strongly believe that they will make exceptional changes and the club will then do well.”
When asked what should happen to the other leaders currently in charge of the club, Gaxa remained coy but reiterated his stance.
“I don’t know [who should step aside],” he added.
“I just want those two to be given those responsibilities. I don’t know who must leave, or I’m sure there are other positions that can be provided to any of the other kids.
“But the dedication that I’ve witnessed when I was at Chiefs from these two it was incredible.”
