Chiefs Aim To Keep Top Spot In Diski Challenge

Kaizer Chiefs aim to maintain their top spot in a clash against struggling Marumo Gallants, while Bernard Parker’s TS Galaxy will battle against Mamelodi Sundowns for a massive three points.

Chiefs will travel to CUT Stadium to face struggling Gallants. This clash looks easy on paper, as Gallants have gone 13 games without a win, while Amakhosi are on a nine-match unbeaten run and sitting top of the table.

The battle of the strugglers will be between Pirates and Polokwane City at Isak Steyl Stadium. The Buccaneers have won only one of the last four matches and are currently sitting eighth in the league, while Rise and Shine won one in the last five matches and occupied 12th place.

Saturday will be closed by the two inform teams as Galaxy will welcome title challengers Sundowns at Kanyamazane Stadium. Wounded Galaxy saw their unbeaten run of six matches coming to an end after losing to Chiefs by 4-1 last weekend. On the other side, Sundowns look to extend their unbeaten run to 10 matches.

Sunday morning Cape Town City will welcome SuperSport United at the slaughterhouse Malta Park Sports Complex. City has only lost one match there in more than a year. Matsatsantsa aim to keep up with the title race as they are currently two points behind.
