TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic has explained how the club convinced Bosnia-Hezgovinia talisman Dzenan Zajmovic to join.
Galaxy made what has proved to be one of their best signings at the beginning of the season when they signed Zajmovic, who was a free agent after leaving Serbian side FK Radnik Surdulica. The 30-year-old didn’t take much time to show his ability as he scored his first goal in his first start for Galaxy against Chippa United.

The Bosnianian never looked back as he kept on scoring, and is now sitting on a 15-goal contribution currently in all competitions, 12 goals, and three assists. Speaking with Thabiso Mosia on Radio2000, Beganovic explained that he had to show Zajmovic the FNB Stadium, which hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Netherlands, and the football supporters of the big three clubs in the country, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

“In the beginning, some agent called us and he said he didn’t have a club he was a free agent that time Sead was the head coach and then he asked me about him and I said all the nice things about him. I called, I remember we were playing a friendly match against Kaizer Chiefs,” Beganovic told Radio2000
“I went to the stadium and I called him from the stadium I said look man it’s like that its a real stadium, you need to check everything on Google its a World Cup stadium.
“I said to him work, stay healthy, and prepare yourself to be on the top you can score 10 to 15 goals this season and then. you play and stay here for many years because it is a beautiful country, with beautiful supporters, he checked everything, he checked Chiefs supporters. Orlando Pirates supporters, Mamelodi Sundowns supporters because it three best clubs in the country but Chiefs have the best supporters in the world I think.”
