Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Cedric Kaze says his team deserves a lot of praise following their impressive performance against AmaZulu in the midweek match.
Amakhosi’s faithful were, seemingly, unhappy with the result, with the team having not tasted a victory in the last three Betway Premiership matches.

Kaze admitted they have been struggling to bury a lot of goal-scoring chances they have created in the recent matches.
However, he maintained that the Chiefs players deserve praise for their displays, particularly against AmaZulu on Wednesday, where they produced incredible statistics similar to those Mamelodi Sundowns have achieved over the last two years.
“We are privileged to be in a situation where we can feel the pressure because that’s where you work very hard,” said Kaze.
“There are sleepless nights, myself and my colleagues didn’t sleep last nights. We were analysing the game, preparing for Stellenbosch [upcoming Carling Knockout Cup clash].
“We were looking at what can we do differently to score those goals. This is a message to the fans. I know that they want to win, and we are doing everything we can.
“I think from yesterday’s [Wednesday] game, those players deserve praise, 23 shots, eight on target, 510 passes, 70% of possession.
“We haven’t seen that with this Kaizer Chiefs team for the past four years. Looking at that, I’d say we have seen those stats from the Mamelodi Sundowns team that played two years ago.”
