Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has shifted blame toward goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma for their latest Betway Premiership defeat to Marumo Gallants on Saturday afternoon.
Amakhosi succumbed to their 11th league loss of the campaign after being pegged back following Glody Lilepo’s 10th minute strike as Matome Mathiane and Daniel Msendami both scored to see Bahlabane Ba Ntwa rally from behind to grab maximum points at FNB Stadium.

The home loss also saw Chiefs slip out of the top eight bracket and are now running the risk of repeating last season’s record after they failed to compete in the MTN8 competition.
Khanye reckons that Bvuma did not handle the second goal well and should’ve instead taken more control of the situation.
“Poor from the goalkeeper, poor from Bruce Bvuma,” he said, speaking on iDiski TV.
“Just pile the ball to be far away. Now he’s punching the ball and it falls close to the opposition.
“Seasoned player. I mean we’re not being harsh to players but we need to be realistic.
“I mean the team lost. That ball was a one-v-one. I think Chiefs could have drawn.
“If you don’t have a goalkeeper it’s a problem especially at a big team like Kaizer Chiefs. [Orlando] Pirates got one of the best goalkeepers [Sipho Chaine] especially in the country, Ronwen Williams as well Mamelodi Sundowns, it’s just Chiefs.
“As a big team, I think that’s where they are losing it to start off.”
