After another brace in Chippa United’s 2-0 win over Cape Town City, Chippa coach Thabo September said he believes Sinoxolo Kwayiba has a bright future ahead of him and will only get better with better opportunities.
Kwayiba scored twice in the second half to secure three points in the Betway Premiership, as Chippa held out against the wind in the first half, before the turning the tables on City.
It was the third brace of the season for the Chippa midfielder who made his debut for Bafana Bafana last year.
September was full of praise for their goalscorer and predicts an even brighter future for Kwayiba, who turned 25 three days ago, and feels he will grow even more if he joins a bigger club.
“He can be very good,” enthused September.
“He can be very good. Still young, 24 good height, good speed, but everywhere else, I think, with better facilities, better players, better coaching – I’m not saying we’re not good coaches, but better coaching -getting everything, nutritionist or whatever that is there, that will help him to be a better player.
“Here with us, yes, we can make him good to a certain point. I think I feel like I said the past weekend. I feel like he needs to move to a bigger team, because he’s really a good player. Good, good, good human being as well, at training, off the field.
“So I would want him to do well. He had an opportunity to play for Bafana Bafana. Once you taste that, you want to continue. So ja, I’m happy for him, but ja, we try to keep him grounded and make sure that we get the best out of him.”
