Mamelodi Sundowns utility-man Aubrey Modiba says it’s imperative they keep racking up clean sheets in their quest for the title this season.
Sundowns kept their six consecutive clean sheet with six wins to go with it after the 2-0 victory over Richards Bay on Saturday afternoon at the King Zwelithini Stadium.

Modiba was one of several standout players for Miguel Cardoso’s side on the day and was rewarded with the Man of the Match honour.
“They are a very good team, they don’t give up so we had to get that second goal and I’m happy with the three points today,” Modiba told SuperSport TV after the game.
“It was important to get that clean sheet because goal difference, it helps, it gives the defence confidence and the keepers, everyone, the whole team.
“So, I’m happy we managed that and scored the goals, two today – hopefully more going forward.”
