Former Chippa United midfielder Siphelele Luthuli, who is currently a free agent, has been spotted training at Orlando Pirates.
The talented Luthuli came through the youth system at the University of Pretoria, before having stints at Highlands Park, Ubuntu, Bloemfontein Celtic, Royal AM and Chippa.
It was at Celtic in 2019/20 that Luthuli had arguably his best campaign, scoring six goals.
The 29-year-old moved to Chippa after a brief stay at Royal AM, and was the Chilli Boyz for three seasons, featuring 44 times in all competitions.
Now, Luthuli will be hoping to impress Jose Riveiro and Pirates, who have been no strangers to making successful left-field signings recently.
