SuperSport United have announced the addition of former player Onismor Bhasera to their technical team after the departure of Gavin Hunt.
Hunt was in charge of 97 games in his second stint at Matsatsantsa, winning 36 while losing 35. However, SSU lost five of their last seven league games – a run that saw them drop into the playoff spot.
However, last week Friday, SuperSport’s leadership announced the departure of Hunt, just a few games after he reached his 1000th match in senior coaching.
A few days later, the club confirmed the addition of their former captain who had left the club after the 2023/24 season to the new technical team.
“Onismor Bhasera returns to help guide the team forward as part of Andre Arendse and Grant Johnson’s technical team,” a statement read.
