Swallows FC have completed the signing of Zimbabwe striker Tawanda Macheke on a free transfer.
The towering striker joins after parting ways with Maritzburg United before the end of the transfer deadline – as he made way for the arrival of Kwame Peprah on loan from Orlando Pirates.
Having played 25 games for the Team of Choice, he failed to find the back of the net, but he reunites with Ernst Middendorp who appears to be a fan of his aerial ability.
Swallows confirmed his arrival on their official social media accounts on Friday afternoon ahead of their fixture against Cape Town City at the DHL Stadium on Sunday.
