Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu FC have announced their starting line-ups for the DStv Premiership encounter at Orlando Stadium this evening.
Exactly seven days ago these two sides faced each other in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final at Moses Mabhida Stadium and put on a show when Buccaneers came out victorious with 4-2 to advance to the semi-finals.
Usuthu have not beaten Pirates in the last 11 years, which is something they will look to end tonight as they aim to finish inside the top eight.
But the KwaZulu-Natal-based side managed to only win one league game in their last seven matches, which has left them with 28 points after 23 matches.
Meanwhile, Pirates’ fight for CAF Champions League spot continues this evening and the Sea Robbers could go level on points with second-placed Stellenbosch FC.
Bucs have lost only one match since the resumption of the league after the Africa Cup of Nations and have scored 20 goals in their last six games.
Pirates also have a good record against AmaZulu, winning 16 of their 35 clashes, while 16 ended in draws and AmaZulu just won three.
Here is how they line up:
Pirates XI: Chaine, Xoki, Sesane, Makhaula, Lebitso, Timm, Dlamini, Hotto, Maswanganyi, Mofokeng, Mabasa
Subs: Buthulezi, Maela, Monyane, Mbatha, Ndlondlo, Kimvuidi, Saleng, Lepasa
